David graduated from Boise State University with a BBA in 1971 and holds licenses as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Idaho and in Nevada. He is also certified as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) where he serves on the Standards Committee and as an Ambassador.
Dave began his career with the IRS gaining experience and knowledge in tax law. He joined a regional accounting firm in 1973, which today is known as Cooper Norman. Mr. Cooper served as the Managing Partner of the Cooper Norman for twenty years. Cooper Norman grew from one office to three and became one of the largest public accounting firms in Idaho during Dave's 36-year association with the Firm.
Dave Cooper is now focused on helping business owners and executives grow and capture the intangible values of their business.
